Hello,

does anyone know if it´s possible to change the default placeholder text ("Click here to attach a file") of a file attachment control?

it is possible to change the default placeholder for picture control. by editing the appropriate view.xsl file and editing the appropriate tag.

But i am not sure if we can do any thing for file attachment control.

... sorry, that I asked the same question again in a new thread --- I haven´t remember my thread a few weeks ago (http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/15110/53570.aspx#53570)

 But in reply to Qazi Anis answer: I know that I can change the context menu commands (Attach, Save as...) in the manifest.xsf file but there´s no way to change the caption for the button text 'Click here to attach a file'.

Is there really no way to change this caption.. :-((
