Is it possible to add a row to a repeating table from a combo box selection?

I don't know if this obvious and I am just missing something.

What I need to do is when a user makes a choice from a combo box I grab the value of the box, do some calculations, and then I want to put it in a new row in a repeating table on the same form.  Is there some way, preferably using rules rather than code, that I can add a new row to the table and enter my values into it?

I don't want the user to have to manually add a new row if possible, I would like all of this to be done automatically.

You can make this without custom code, consider you have drop down list that has first names filled from a data source, and you have repeating Table with 2 columns, first name and address. what you can do is make the repeating table retrieve data from same data source as the drop down list, so you now have drop down list filled with first name for employees for example and repeating table filled with first names and addresses. now double click the field in repeating table and in the conditional formatting make : if this field (first name) is NOT equal to drop down list first name >> hide this control, and do the same for the address field and for every field you may have, this will ensure just value you want from the drop down list to appear in the repeating table, so when you open the form you just have the titles without any row in the repeating.
