    Greyed out controls

I have a form that includes check boxes. When the user checks a box, certain choices are not available and should be obvious to the user that he cannot choose these options. What is the best way for InfoPath to handle greyed out controls?

Please check out this HowTo article:

It shows you how to hide a check box using conditioal visibility.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks very much, but the customer just wants the choices greyed out to show they are disabled, not hidden. Perhaps a different view should be used? That way I can manually grey out the controls if the check box is checked. That is the only solution I can think of.

When you right click the check box to bring up the Check Box Properties, select the Display tab. Click the Conditional Formatting-> Add. You can then set your condition, and select the "Disable this control" check box.

Is this what you are looking for?
