i defined data connection to SQL DB.
to reduce the timing, i would like to create a specific query inside the data connection.
i used the Edit SQL button and wrote this query:
select "LastName","FirstName"
from "dbo"."Worker"
where ShortID ='" + userName() + "'
i can use userName() inside any field, but when writing this syntax, it doesn't work.
i tried adding @, & changing syntax but nothing. when i writhing my specific user name (not function), it's work, so it has to be syntax problem.
any ideas?
