Deep question for the guru's ...

Let's say I get a sticky footer working on my SP Site, like this:  http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22274904/SP-Cafe-Blog-Posts/Branding/MasterPages/Custom-footer-Final.PNG

Let's also say I have another Web Part I enable on this page that holds an InfoPath 2010 web-enabled form.

[drum roll] Now I want to allow a user to click on an information button (little 'i' or question mark) next to the field within the InfoPath web form they're having trouble with, and have that click magically refresh my sticky footer with some help text on what this field is all about.

Doable?  Am I living in a fantasy land?  Off my rocker?  Gone to pot?
