InfoPath Dev

Another quick issue:

I have a hyperlink to an InfoPath template in an ASPX page. The link works for three of us in the office, but for one user when he clicks it nothing happens. I've confirmed he has InfoPath installed by launching it manually.

Any clue why this would be?

What is happening when you try to open the link? Are you getting any error message? If so, what is the error message you are getting?

First it was just a regular link to the XSN file like this:

\\sharepoint-tr.landam.com\ITCompliance\BC_DR\Plans\StmtOfAssurance\Forms\template.xsn

When he clicked on it a new browswer window would open and it was blank. No error messages. Nothing on the status bar other than the path to the file.

Then I added parameters like this:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\Infopath.exe \new "\sharepoint-tr.landam.com\ITCompliance\BC_DR\Plans\StmtOfAssurance\Forms\template.xsn"

That opens a new browser page with an error that the file cannot be found.

I'm just curious why the first link worked for all of us but this one guy?

This sounds like a networking issue. Can you access any other files with similiar URLs? Is the computer in the correct domain?
