To the InfoPath Gurus...
I am creating a form to structure/standardize free form comments entered into a separate business application. I'm using views to convert the data captured in the data entry field into expressions that can be cut and pasted into an unformatted unicode text box in the separate web application. Unfortunately, the data entry view requires repeating tables and sections to provide the necessary flexiblity to the user within the new format. I convert the columns and data fields in each of the repeating tables (and the entire form) into various expresions (using the concat function librally). For some unfathomable reason, in some of my repeating tables there is an extra space inserted after each row when the expressions are pasted into the unformatted - unicode text boxes. The mysterious space is not evident in the InfoPath expression view, just the pasted text in the web application (its also evident when pasted to notepad). Some reapeating tables experience this phenomena, while others do not. I have of course, removed all pading and margins from every section and/or table. Additionally, the hieght of all sections/table rows is set to auto. I have removed the headers and user enable selections form the tables in the expression view (they are enabled in the data entry view). I have also added the normalize-space function to the expressions within the offending repeating tables to eliminate any white space that may be trailing my data. At this point I'm at a complete loss as to what is causing my mysterious space. Any ideas what the cause/solution could be?
