File submit connection.execute() method fails in infopath client

     Hi,

I want to submit the form on the form load. So I am using file submit connection.execute() method. This works fine when I open the form in Browser, but unfortunately fails when I open the same form in Infopath Clent with an error "nvalid Context: Execute cannot be called in the Form Loading event."

Can some one tell me whether I can use it or not. If not let me know the work around for that.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Kesava,

Can you take the code out of the On Load event handler and put it somewhere else?

I'm guessing you are trying to auto-populate values in your form on load. If that's correct, please take a look at the free trial of qRules 2.1. We added a new function for Swapping DOM on load to work around this limitation in InfoPath.

    Happy trails!

     Hi Patrick,

I have a problem with which I am suffering for a very long time. I hope you can help me and the problem is "Re-Submitting of form to a sub folder of form library is failing".

In our site, there are so many users. So we need to store form data(we are submitting forms to the doc lib) in the folder structure for better performance. So we are creating folders dynamically and changing the submit data connection folder url during run time. Till here it is working fine. But when User opens the form and makes some changes and tries to submit it throws an error " A value in the form may be used to specify the file name. If you know the value in the form that specifies the file name, revise it and try again. Otherwise, contact the author of the form template"

Which means that it is unable to overwrite the existing file. Please help me out.
