functions on values displayed in a dropdown

Hi all,
is it possible to display in a dropdown list only the last n characters of a set of fields?Thank u again.

This could be done using code and an intermediate storage facility. You will have your original fields in one set of data and then use code to grab the the last n characters from the fields and write them into a new table. Then populate your drop-down with this "converted" table.
