Copy Data from Excel rows into Infopath Repeating Table

    Hi,

I have a simple form where I gather some information into a repeating table and it all works.

The user often prepares the data in EXCEL and copies/pastes the information from EXCEL into the appropriate fields and there are 20 fields.

Is there a simple way to import the data through a control into the table starting from the currently highlighted row without having to upload the file?

Filling the fields from the Copy/Paste Clipboard may be acceptable (Open EXCEL, Copy all cells, Open InfoPath, select insertion point in table, Paste From Buffer)

Any clues on the most sensible way to do this?

    Hi:

I don't know of a simple way to do this... but I wonder about this solution suggested by the InfoPath team might be a workaround for you? An Access DB linked to the Excel sheet could provide a secondary data source to the form?

Of course, then you'd have the issue of trying to get the data from the secondary data source into your main data source, which would require code (or qRules for a codeless solution).
