I have created a section in a form (InfoPath 2010) that I would like hidden until the form is submitted. The section has one field in it and the field has concatenated text along with some xml for line breaks. I have tried everything I can think of to hide this section and for whatever reason it will not hide. I have set the rule to hide if a certain other field holds a specified value and it will not hide. Does anyone know if there is an issue with hiding a field if it has concatenated text or xml in it?

Generally, when rules fail, it is because there is something wrong with the condition. Can I see a copy of your form? You can attach it under the Options tab in a reply.
Thanks Hilary! I figured it out. For whatever reason I had to move the field I was pulling the condition from to another group and it worked. I'm not sure why it had to function that way this time but for whatever reason it did.
