Is it possible to create a dynamic repeating table at runtime

    Hi folks

I am a newbie in infopath with a real good problem as my first challenge.

Is it possible to create a dynamic repeating table at runtime. I have an sql server table of which the columns and column number may vary.So can i create a repeating table in an infopath form from code or can I add columns & controls to the columns with values dynamically.

    Thanks

if you are talking about creating columns at run time in repeating table, then it is impossible to the best of my knowledge.

Can we hide columns in a repeating table depending on some fields.

Lets say there are 10 columns by default design and only 3 columns are there when data is fetched from datasource.

Can we remove the 7 columns from the repeating table from code/using conditional formatting... so that the user will view a table as if there are only 3 columns

yes it is possible to do so,

you can create say x sections and drop your repeating table in them, with varying column, and display the appropriate section at run time based on the number of columns you retrieve.
