The person completeing the form can send the form to any of those email addresses. 1, many or all of them. Just say there was a check box beside each email address and say that check box for email 1, 3, and 4 were checked. When i hit submit, i would like the email address in the field for 1,3 and 4 to be inserted into the "To" field of an email and sent. Is this possible, if so, what is best way to achieve it. Reply Contact Works Perfect. Thanks for your help. Finally.... kind of related...The email address I am using is actually a distribution list within our Active Directory (so it is not your conventional [email protected], it is just "DIST - SAM - Managers"). I assumed when using "submit" via email, it would look up this name within AD then send to the relavant email addresses. But it appears it doesn't, it says "unable to resolve", i guess this is because it is not the conventional [email protected] email address. Are you aware of any options for me to allow me to use DIST list instead of conventional email address. It woud also not be practial to have emails within dist list entered into the form in some way. Too many and constantly changing. Thanks again, massive help so far. 02-02-2010 09:14 PM In reply to Qazi Anis Joined on 03-13-2009 Chicago Posts 1,025 Re: 5 Email address Listed, can select all, non or many, then when submit the form is emailed to those selected email addresses Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact well when you have distribution lists, their names may be like Managers or some thing like that but their actuall address is [email protected], so instead of just saying DIST-SAM-Managers, get the actual email id of the group from may be your AD manager. Hi All,
I have a form which has 5 email addresses listed on it. The person completeing the form can send the form to any of those email addresses. 1, many or all of them. Just say there was a check box beside each email address and say that check box for email 1, 3, and 4 were checked.

Is this possible, if so, what is best way to achieve it.
Thanks
Craig
have an extra field in your tempalate (say MailTO), add rules on the checkboxes, if they are checked set the value of MailTO to its previous value + the new mail id. and in the submit use MailTO to send mails
Thanks for your response and process. I understand and it makes sense, but i have just been unable to complete it in practice.
So far i have done...
Check Box 1 [Email Address 1]
I applied a rule...
Set Condition = When "Check Box 1" = "True"...add action...action is "Set Field's Value"...i choose the "MailTO" field....but this is where i come unstuck. What is that value that i set. I would like the value [inserted into "MailTO"] to be the label of Checkbox 1, say [email protected]. How do i make this possible....and then....
When i have multiple checkboxes all sending a value to "MailTO" when they are checked, how do i retain all the Email Addresses [Values] in the "MailTO" and not just overwrite the previous entry.
Thanks for your help....appreciated.
associate a textbox with each check box to act as its lablel
so in the rule set field's(MailTO) to Concat(Mailto,associated_text_box)
you will also have to write a rule
if field is unset
if Mail_to conatins Associated_text_box
MailTO = Concat(substring-before(Mail_TO,Associated_text_box), substring-after(Mail_TO,Associated_text_box))
Works Perfect. Thanks for your help.

well when you have distribution lists, their names may be like Managers or some thing like that but their actuall address is [email protected], so instead of just saying DIST-SAM-Managers, get the actual email id of the group from may be your AD manager.
