Online and Offline Form in Sharepoint 2007

    Hello all,

I am very new to InfoPath/Sharepoint integration so please bare with me...

I have a form which is published in a Sharepoint Form Library (Sharepoint 2007) and is set to 'Display as Web-Page'.

I have now been asked to offer the users offline functionaltiy as well, so they can save their forms locally, complete them and then submit them when they next have web access.

Is this possible? If so could someone please give me some pointers.

    Thanks, Simon

    yes, this is possible.

but for this you will need infopath client installed on every machine. and the user needs to open the form in infopath and then save it on local machine. the time they submit the form they should be online, so that it gets submitted to the doc lib

It is assumed that the infopath client will be on every machine, but I still want users to be able to fill in the forms in the browser via the form library.

Is it possible to have forms completed in the browser by default, but to give the user the option of saving/completing them offline before submitting back to the Form Library?

yes this is possible, users can fill the form in the browser (for that they need to be online), then they can download the form to their own machine(using file -> save as(type *.xml) in browser).
