Is there a limmit on 100 recipients on the send email button

    Is there a limmit on 100 recipients on the send email button

    I have designed a form with a send button who has this formula: eval(eval(Adresslist; 'concat(@Email, ";")'); "..") where the Adresslist is a list on a share point serverAnd it works just fine, but there seems to be a limit on 100 addresses in the formula or in the InfoPath send function and my list has 140 mail addresses so that the last 40 will not get the message.Can anyone tell me if there is such a limit in the formula or in InfoPath and how to make a workaround?

    Hi Bressen,

    You are bleeding edge. Thanks for letting us know the limit. Might be an Outlook limit or a space issue. Can you use distribution lists to reduce the number?

    It cannot be a space problem because I have tested by concat the whole table into a text string and paste it into the receiver field without any problems. But it is not so easy to maintain a text string as it is to maintain a table. And I am not sure about using distribution lists

    Hi Frede Bressen,

    You have discovered a new issue. We have never heard of this 100 item limit for e-mail. Good job. You are definitely working in one of the most extreme areas. I wonder if it isn't an xpath eval limitation since you said you can paste the entire string in without an issue. At any rate, I'm sorry, but we have no exposure to this "bleeding edge" phenomenon. I wish you well and hope you can figure it out. Please let us know what you find.

    Hi Patrick Halstead

     

    I have found a simple solution on the problem by dividing the table in two and use the CC field.But it is not the most elegant way to do it and I have to maintain two tables, and what do I do when the number of recipients exceeds 200 or 300?
