Hello,

how can I limit the length of the text entered in an infopath textbox? The textbox must be multiline, and with the "paragraph breaks" checkbox checked, the option "Limit text box to x charachters" is unavailable.

Is it possible to use a pattern to work around this problem? Any other solution?

We dont have real good way of limiting a text box size with paragraph breaks on.
But we can let user know that they have entered text more than they are supposed to.
This can be done through data validation, by checking the length of the string using "string-length()" function provided by infopath.
