    Saveas() method and browser-enabled forms

    Hi

    I code a 'save as' option in my form so that forms are saved in the location they are, based on the SaveLocation parameter used with browser enabled forms.

    It works fine from Infopath (can save in the right library), but when trying to test it from the browser I have an error : "An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server. Log ID:5337".

    Here is my code :

    public void CTRL35_5_Clicked(object sender, ClickedEventArgs e)

    {string fileurl = GetValueFromNode("/my:mesChamps/my:Suivi_Formulaire/my:FileUrlPrevision");

    this.SaveAs(fileurl); }

    Is there anybody has got a clue how to solve this issue ?

    Thx

    this.Saveas()

    is available for client forms, not for browser enabled forms.

    Save cannot be done by code as i now,u can anyways submit the Browser enabled form to a form library using

    SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges(delegate()

    {

    this.Submit();

    });

    hi vishal,

    there is difference between save and submit. on save validations dont fire and for submit validations fire and wont allow u to submit untill the datavalidations are fullfilled. so submit can never be a replacement for save untill u take care of it in the data validations
