'm currently using optinal section with conditional formatting for hiding the controls depending on certain conditions.
my problem arises as the conditional formatting is limited to only 5 conditions, when my cases need more and can't be achieved by adding multiple conditional formats.

can we achieve the similar result using code? (would be more than grateful if some code sample is included :) )

You can use code to do your conditional formatting testing by calling xdExtension:MyConditionFuction().

Return a boolean value.
