I can get the contact picker working no problem, I can get itreading vlaues from AD no problem.

However on this form a have a repeating section and I cannot get it to work correctly.

My data structure is

My fields

            Users (repeating section)

                    Person (repeating section)

                               DisplayName, AccountiD, AccountType

I have added a repeating section to the form and put the contact picker within it

 I have tried putting my field which I want populated from AD in various places

under Person, Unders and under the root. The effect is the same wherever it is located:- no data in the field.

If I put it underneath my fields, then each time the contact picker is used that field does get a value in it, but as you would expect, each time I add a new section in and choose another person in contact pick this field is updated with the value from whichever picker was used last.

How do I get it so that I have one extra field per contact picker which is updated from AD every time the contact picker is selected.

What are you putting in this field, and how are you doing it?

I got it to work with the node structure in the attached image.  Note the following things:

- The gpContactSelector table (non-repeating group) goes inside the group2 repeating section (repeating group)

- The extra field (Test) goes under group2 as well, which is at the same level as gpContactSelector

I was able to insert sections each with their own contact selector AND their own text box.  I set the text box to default to the value of AccountId as a test, and it worked.  It wasn't blank, and it didn't duplicate data.

I followed your example, however I could only get it to work by making the grpContactSelector a repeating section as well.

 But the good thing is that it is now working

gpContactSelector should not be a repeating group.  It is a table, and Person is the row.  Only rows repeat, not the table itself.  The group2 is repeating, so the things within it will repeat.

what you have said about tables and rows has suddenly dropped a very large penny. I had never thought of groups being tables.
