InfoPath Dev

My InfoPath form contain a field (called "sum") which it's Data type is "Decimal" and the Format currency is $.

I have button that in it's OnClick code I have this:

double totalsum=3455.7;
this.thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//my:myFields/my:sum").text=totalsum;

By I get Error. What's wrong???

Can you give details on the error that you get? Is it a data validation error or some other error?

I get this Error:

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException

First thing is you cannot assign a double value to a string directly.
Other than that everything looks fine for me.
One other thing that could be wrong is your "XPATH".
