InfoPath Dev

Hello,

 I'm using InfoPath 2003. I have a drop down list "Status" that will populate the data from a Sharepoint List. I've setup a FIlter that will display the choice of Status based on the current. For example, if the Status=Open, the drop down box will display only "Open" and "Cancel".

 Now the problem is everytime I change the value of the drop down box, the Filter will execute again. Is there a way to only filter the data on the Form Load?

You would need to somehow store a copy of the data in the form itself.

If the options are static, and will never ever change, then this is a safe route. But if you want to modify the SharePoint list and therefore modify the forms that pull data from it, then you have no choice but to always load the data!
