InfoPath Dev

Template is built, published, and used in an HTTP environment.  There are many XML forms based on this template.  Environment gets switched to HTTPS, and form has to be re-published for New forms to work properly on HTTPS.  However, existing XML forms no longer work and are referencing the HTTP URL.  What is the process for fixing this dynamically?

 I believe this requires a bulk editing of the XML files.

Qdabra's Modify PI tool was designed expressly for this purpose:

So there's no way to update that reference otherwise when just switching from HTTP to HTTPS then.  The tool seems to do the job, but it's one of those things where you would think this could be done through regular means.
