Hi all:
I searched the forums and found some old posts related to this topic from 2005 and 2006 - I'm hoping maybe some new developments have occurred since then.
I have a form that users send via email to contractors to solicit bids for goods and services. The preferred method is to use File > Send to Mail Recipient, which sends the form within the content of the email along with an XML attachment. This is best for outside contacts who may not have InfoPath to open the XML attachment.
I would like to make things easier for users by providing a button that runs File > Send to Mail Recipient using JScript, and if possible not include the XML attachment, just the form contents in the email. The normal Submit via email option doesn't send the form within the email contents, so it doesn't work as well for outside recipients.
I'm using InfoPath 2003 SP2 currently and we will be upgrading to 2007 by the end of July.
Thanks in advance for any help!
