If I start filling out this form and decide I don't want to fill it out any more so I will close it. Since I already started filling out the form I get prompt with a message "Do you want to submit this form?". I don't want to see this message. I just want to be able to close the form and not have a prompt about submitting the form. Can I disable this message? If so, how? Thanks. 06-19-2009 07:40 AM In reply to warrtalon Joined on 12-14-2007 Denver, CO Posts 980 Re: Disable submit message on form close Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I do not know how to disable or change this message, but have you tried adding a custom button to your form template that has one action to Close? I know in browser-enabled forms, it closes with no prompts. Reply Contact warrtalon, thanks for the quick reply. I'm still new to InfoPath forms. How would do I add an action to close? 06-19-2009 08:03 AM In reply to warrtalon Joined on 12-14-2007 Denver, CO Posts 980 Re: Disable submit message on form close Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact It didn't work for me. I attempted to start filling out a new form and after entering data into a few fields I closed the form. I was prompt with the option to submit when I closed the form (because I entered data in a few fields). Thanks for your help though. 06-19-2009 12:57 PM In reply to davidevan Joined on 06-11-2009 Posts 19 Re: Disable submit message on form close Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I somewhat found a solution. I had "Save as" disabled on my form options. Now it turns out I need to enable the "Save as" functionality so I did. Now if I close the form half way through I get a "Do you want to save?" dialog instead of a "Do you want to submit?". This actually works for me. Not an answer to my original question but it meets my current requirement. Page 1 of 1 (6 items) Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software. All rights reserved.View our Terms of Use.
