Well, how did you resolve it?  We spent a lot of time on this, so just to come back and say you randomly resolved it without explaining what was wrong is not very helpful.  Do you mind sharing what you changed to make it work?

That link you reference is the way to update a separate list item directly.  To do it indirectly, use workflow.  It can be done with SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio - very easy with SPD.

  It was a problem with the filter, it seems like the filter works weird in Infopath. The NombreConge[usera=Utilisateur] was good but the xpath of usera HAVE TO be ../@usera or it will not working.

Ok now i receive all the field of my sharepoint list without problem, but it really hard to submit the new vacation number. The " how to " i found are for adding a new item, but for editing an item in a sharepoint list, how can you add an item where usera=username into the right column ?

With a workflow, and you have to have a unique identifier in the list that can be compared from the form via the workflow itself.

 But can the workflow edit dynamically ? i mean i want when i click to submit this form with "approbation statut = approbated", then the initial number of vacation change to the new.

The workflow issue is something i'm new about, i don't how it work.

Yes, workflow is logic based, but if you haven't done any workflow building in SharePoint, then you will probably want to get some help.  InfoPath forms are typically expected to be coupled with workflow.  They work extremely well together...
