    Email recipient dependent on selection

Hi guys, Ok so I have a leave form and I have a few questions, sorry if this has been talked about else where... I couldn’t find anything so...  what I want it to do, is to send to the manager selected in the form (its a list box) ;i.e. you pick Fill... it sends to Fill... you pick Rose, it sends to Rose. The other thing I want to do is the email  subject... I want to have it say “leave form for” UserName But I can’t find how to add plain text to a formula, I thought I could just use “text” like Excel...but It keeps saying it’s wrong. I am using InfoPath 07 with SharePoint 2.0... I don’t have InfoPath on every users machine... so is there any way to use some kind of web form with SharePoint 2.0. I know you can with 3... but 2?? And I am also on SBS03 so upgrading is pretty much impossible.

    For the first two questions:

You can open the list box's properties and specify the users' names in the Display column of each value and their e-mail address in the Value column.  Then just set the To: field in your data connection to be the field to which the listbox is bound.

You can combine plain text with field values by using the XPath concat() function:

    concat("This is the value of field 1: ", /my:myFields/my:field1)
