InfoPath Dev

Hello all,

I have read on these forums that owssvr.dll will allow you to fetch all columns from a sharepoint list, but how do I use this in infopath?  It does not understand the url as being a web service.  Is there a tutorial I can follow?

Thanks, I have it working now.  My next problem is that I need to use < or > instead of = in the filter.  I know I need to use CAML and a whole different approach though, on well!

Thats really not necessary. You could create supporting view and refer it as a parameter.

That would be ideal, but how could I do such a thing?  I do not see a way from anything I have read.

I have read the post but I don't see anything in there that allows me to select exactly what I want.

I can easily use FilterField1=FieldName&FilterValue1=Value but how do I say FilterField1=FieldName&FilterValue1<>Value to get a 'not equal to'?

From what I have seen, that can only be done by posting a CAML query, but I cannot find how to do that from infopath VSTA code.

When I was in the similar situation I've created additional column and populated it from a workflow. Workflow allows to do complex logical computations so I was able to filter by that column.

There is also posibility (which maybe even better) of creating calculated column. In the column expression you could calculate  FilterField1=FieldName&FilterValue1<>Value pretty easy.
