    Control Text Size

    Hi,

I am creating a form and using Verdana at size 10. When i use the form (Preview or otherwise) the font in the controls although set to Verdana size 10 like the labels on the form appears bigger and in a bold font... does this sound right?

This is slightly annoying as no matter what text size i set for the text in the form the controls always appear larger and bold.

    cheers

Sounds like there are some Windows system setting for fonts that are messing you up... or more likely with Internet Explorer. Verify that you have medium sized font selected in IE. Keep in mind that InfoPath uses the Internet Explorer rendering engine... so setting changes to IE will affect InfoPath.

Some of my users that have their IE text size set to large are currently running into this issue, except the font sizes on the form are sporadic. The form has many repeating tables that return data from SQL...the font size for one row will be big, the next two will be normal, the next will be big, etc. It is the same case for the data entry fields on the form as well. Some fields will be normal, others will be large. Below is an example. Does anyone know a resolution to this other than setting the text size in IE to medium? This does not seem right.
