I have read the following post and done everything by those instructions: http://blogs.msdn.com/jannemattila/archive/2007/01/21/infopath-and-web-service-data-connection.aspx
But when I set up my data connection, the wizard asked me for a "Sample Value" for the parameter I am passing into my webmethod, it is a string. No matter what I do, the value I typed for the sample value is being returned to the web service and I can't set this value to what the user typed in the text box.
Also, when I goto my webservice and invoke the test operation, the value is interpreted correctly but not through InfoPath.
Any suggestions?
