    conditional formatting submit button

    Gents,

Have created a form that will email itself as an attachement once one hits the submit button (on the form itself, not in the toolbar). Is there a way to hide this by conditional formatting once the email has been sent. Problem is that once this xml file is opened (on the email), by another user, he will see this submit button and therefore able to email it again.

    Thanks for the help !!

    Hi,

Add a Boolean type field with the default value to false. Once the email is sent set this field to true. By suing this field put the conditional formatting on the button. If that field is equal to true then disable the control.

Hi,Try with below steps:1.               Add one Boolean hidden field "IsEmailSend" to schema.2.               By default this field value should be "False.3.               Add rule to a button to set this field value as "true" after sending email.4.               Add conditional formatting to that button, when “IsEmailSend” is equal to True” then disable this control.

"Add rule to a button to set this field value as "true" after sending email"?

How to do this step? FYI, I have set the Submit Button to submit to Sharepoint List, so i cannot use rule anymore.? thanks.

    Re: conditional formatting submit button

Hi, Select "Rules and Custom code” option instead of selecting “Submit” option in the Button properties. So that you can add first rule to submit the form to SharePoint and then add rule to send email and then add third rule to “Add rule to a button to set this field value as "true" after sending email”.
