Hello,

 I have a infopath form. This form is published to a sharepoint server and used as a web form.

The sharepoint server requires authentication, so every user is logged in with his user account.

If the above webform is filled out by the user and send, the form gets automatically an "Created by" (Author) field with the users name.

I dont want to have the users name written in that field.

May be someone can help me with that.

Is it possible to deactivate the "Created by" (Author) column in the sharepoint form list?

If not : Is it possible to fill/change the field value from within the infopath form while sending?

If not, is there another way to achieve, that the authors name is not written?

You could just change the default list view to not show the "Created By". Is that good enough? Go to Form Library Settings and there should be a place there to modify Views and edit the Default view to not have the Created By column in the list. Simple thing.

You can't control this from InfoPath. SharePoint always sets that data when a form is submitted. So, hiding it is your best option.
