Is there a way to replace the InfoPath template in a Visual Studio project but keep all the code behind?

Is there a way to replace the InfoPath 2003 template in a Visual Studio project but keep all the code behind?

    I have the following problem:

    • My desktop was lost by movers in a company move and the most recent version of the VS Project of an application I was working on was not in source control and was on my local drive.

What I have that could aid in fixing the problem:

    • I have an older version of the project uploaded in a .zip file to a SharePoint document library. The C# .cs codebehind has not changed since I uploaded the project to the document library for temporary backup, but the .xsn template file has changed. I published the most recent version of the completed/complied form to a form library, so I can obtain the InfoPath template.

I do not know of a way to get the project back other than combining the working form/template that is out on a form library with the old project that has the old design of the template.

    Hello,

We can modify the existing manifest.xsf with new .xsn file. You have to follow these steps,

    1. Open the new .xsn file in design mode.

    2. Go to File -> ‘Save as Source Files..'

    3. In ‘Browser For Folder' window, you have to give your InfoPath form location of manifest.xsf is available. (eg: e:\foldername\projectname\solutionfolder\InfoPath Form Template")

    4. Click on ‘OK' button.

Note: Make sure that you have back up for both forms before doing above steps.

Following above you will get updated InfoPath design changes in your folder with existing code.
