Why does infopath keep changing my font and format?

I am designing a new form with infopath.  I have a bunch of layout tables with just plain text.  I save the text in Times New Roman format, but when I reopen the manifest file, all of the font is set back to Verdana (I copied the form based off of another where most of the font was Verdana).  Not only that, there are numerous rows where a carriage return is being added, and many places where the font size is also changed when I open it again.

It is VERY annoying and making it impossible to design the form how I want.  Does anyone know why it is doing this?  Is this a bug or some stupid setting I am missing?  Thanks so much...

    Hi,

Open the form in design mode and verify the font for a specific field by placing the cursor on that field. You have changed the font but may be forgotten to save the form.  To change the font of all the fields just hold ctrl+A then change the font according to your requirement.

Re: Why does infopath keep changing my font and format?

This is what I already did about a dozen times.  I tried changing single words, saving, then reopening (all in design mode).  I tried changing a whole layout table, even selecting all as you suggested, and still got the same results.  It acted exactly as if I hadn't saved, but trust me, I did.

It almost seems like Infopath doesn't terribly agree with changing the formatting of two differently-formatted sections at the same time.  So, if I have a some 10-font Verdana and 12-font Times, highlight them both, then try to change them to 10-font Times, it doesn't save correctly.  Sounds crazy, but that's almost what seems to be happening.  I have since then been chaning just one line or one cell at a time and it seems to be working.  Let's face it, Infopath's formatting abilities just kind of suck.

    Thanks for your advice.
