Hi... i m newbie in infopath.. i m having a task to create form call "Leave Application Form".

This form can change view base on the roles.. the form is working like this...

the employee will fill the form...after click submit.. it will submit to HR department..HR will view the form with different view..after HR approve.. the form will flow back to the employee..

Now i m having difficulty on creating roles..

i have been followed tutorial from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb952744.aspx how ever i still cant get it..

and i also couldn't find active directory in vista

do i still miss some step??or any solution for this??

i m using vista home premium and infopath 2003.. any suggestion will be appreciate...

Do you want to add the roles in InfoPath right?

Then please follow the below steps for adding the roles in InfoPath form.

·         In your form open Tools --> User Roles --> Add Role.

·         "Role Name" text box enter the role name (i.e., HR, Employee etc).

·         After the above step, Check the user Names check box and enter the user names in that text box and click “Ok”.

Like this you can add the roles into your form.

            If you want to add the roles other than InfoPath form .Please let me know so that I can definitely help you.
