Repeating table - How to copy data from first line to added lines

Hi, i have search solution for this from many place and forums. I have build simple form, that has one repeating table with 7 fields.

Field2 is dropdown and reguired. And when adding new line, it should automatically copy selected data to next line at field2 and lock it, so no chance to change it afterwards.

Not even by changing first line...

    Hello Welcome to the Forums,

You have to write the code in OnAfterChange event for repeating table. While inserting new row then copy the first line "field2" field data and set new row and insert as new row.

On "field2" you have to add conditional formatting is "repeating field2 count is more than 1 and field2 is not blank" -> Read-only.

    Hi,

Open the form in Visual Studio solution and double click on the Repeating table. You will get the onafter change event then you can write the code there.

    Thanks,
    Sandhya
