Publishing form to SharePoint Library - Not a valid InfoPath template

I've created and published an InfoPath form with a data source that is successfully pulling back information from a SharePoint list (it isn't web enabled...users will open the form in InfoPath locally, then submit) and I can click the New Document link in SharePoint, fill out and submit a form successfully - happy days! The issue is that, when ever I open an existing form, I get the following error: "The following file is not a valid InfoPath form template" http://sharepoint/site/template.xsn?SaveLocation=http://sharepoint/site/AllItems.aspx?SortField.... I can manually re-link the submitted forms and they'll open up OK but there is something fundamentally wrong. So after further research, I managed to edit the .XSN file and ensure the correct path is in the file and have manually placed the file in the SharePoint Forms folder. When I do this, I can create, submit AND view submitted forms without an issue. However, if I publish the form from within InfoPath to the SharePoint document library, the .XSN is populated with an incorrect location and previously submitted forms cannot be viewed. What am I doing wrong with regards to publishing the InfoPath template to the SharePoint library?!

     Hi there,

Trying to understand your issue. When you  say" However, if I publish the form from within InfoPath to the SharePoint document library, the .XSN is populated with an incorrect location and previously submitted forms cannot be viewed" what do you mean by that? Are you talking about the submit data connection has incorrect location for document library? After submitting the form when you open the form from the document library is it opening in the filler? Are you submitting the forms to a different document library? When you say "I can manually re-link the submitted forms and they'll open up OK", are these forms opening in the filler?

     Thanks,
