Hi,Try this once.1.    Open the form in design mode.2.    Go to Tools -> Form Options->Versioning.3.    There you will see one box with the name ‘Version Number’ (the value is like 1.0.0.100).4.    Just increase the last value. (i.e. change the above value from 1.0.0.100 to 1.0.0.110).5.    Click ok.6.    Then publish the form.Hope this will solve your problem. 

 

I tried all options.  It's not disabled by any condition.  I checked both sampledata.xml and template.xml, the field is in both files.

I also try manually change the version number.  Nothing works.

Is this new field in a repeating section?

If it is in repeating section make sure that it is there in the manifest.xsf also.

 To make sure that you are opening new version, delete the infopath cache of the form and try again.

Yes, it is. My form is fully trusted. So, I uninstall and reinstall the new version everytime.

after u uploaded your form, did u deactivate and reactivate??

go to your Central Admin, under Application Management --> Manage Form Templates, click on the form name, you should see the menu.

I don't have one. My form is installed on the client using .msi

Finally, found the solution. Since I uninstall/reinstall my template everytime, the solutionVersion is always the same; therefore the OnVersionUpgrade didn't run, so the old form didn't get update.

Solution: specify the version number when creating the .msi.
