Hello everyone,
I've been searching the forums, and it doesn't seem like what I need can be done, but I'm just going to put this up here for any ideas.
OK, so my goal is to have a web service send out InfoPath forms over Outlook to a selection of users.
I've written a web service that currently uses the EmailAdapter object to send an InfoPath form to my Outlook. The problem here is there is a confirmation dialogue that I can't bypass automatically (have to manually click "Send"). It appears that this can be removed by making the form fully trusted, but I don't want to do this (would this mean installing some script on every user's hard drive??). So, I am wondering, first, am I right that each user of the InfoPath form will need to install something, if I were to make the form fully trusted? Second, what alternatives do I have? It's a requirement that the InfoPath form be integrated with Outlook for the users. Is there another way to embed an active IP form in an Outlook message?
Thanks!
Khang
Edit: I should also mention that I will be integrating this with SharePoint and either a Sharepoint Workflow or write my own workflow with Windows Workflow Foundation, so if either of those things provide another means of sending InfoPath forms thru e-mail, it'd be nice to know. I may just end up throwing out this req, and send the users an email with the form as an attachment, or a URL to the SharePoint location.
