hi all, newbie question about autonumbering and doc library in sharepoint.
I'm creating a new custom information panel for my Word2007 docs. In this panel i need an autonumbering field which is calculated through the max (id) + 1 function. All works great if the document is published on the top level folder of my Sharepoint doc library, but if a new doc is posted on subfolders in the same doc library the max (id)+1 fucntion returns an old value. What am i doing wrong ??
