    best design approach

Trying to figure out the best approach:

    A. I have a problem trying to figure out the best design approach. The form has a Multi Select List Box that list a single column-(Column A) from Table A that has a hundred or so rows. I would like to show the remaining SQL corresponding form columns when one or more checked items are selected from the Multi Select List Box - and - clear them when they are un-selected. Do I create a custom form definition (.xsf) file, etc?

    B. I have multiple tables with the same columns referenced, using the same conditions above. I don't think InfoPath supports dynamic SQL - yet. In reality the only thing that is different is the table referenced in data connection. Do I use multiple secondary data connections, code logic, etc.

Web Services would allow you to dynamically query mutiple tables as you describe. Check out the Web Service fgrom Qdabra.

For the first item you may want to use a repeating table to create the tree view. Use conditional formatting to hide and reveal based on button selections.
