I'm relatively new to using web services and wondered if it's possible to accomplish this scenario using the updatelistitems web service. I have a work order form that has a completed date field and I want this completed date to be sent to the completed field of the document library where I am submitting the work order form. ( Reason being..... I have a workflow that monitors that completed field in the library list and when it gets populated, the completed work order moves to a completed work order library.) I have tried using a submit data connection, web service to send that form field to the library field when the form is submitted.... but my mapping is wrong. Am I correct in using the updatelistitem web service to do this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
