    Restricting the user interaction with the picture control

     Hi,

    I have a repeating table carrying picture control and hidden text
    field. All i want is to restrict some users from interacting with the
    image control. The hidden text field is populated with the current
    logged in user. Is it possible, using conditional formatting or rules
    etc. , to enable/disable image control, within the repeating table.
    <my:group1>
     <my:group2>
      <my:txtHiddenField></my:txtHiddenField>
      <my:imgImage></my:imgImage>
     </my:group2>
    </my:group1>

    considering the above xml as an example, how would i be able to refer
    the currently selected image control using xpath in expression
    editor.
    thanks ,....

    Certainly.

    You can add conditional formatting on the image control and set a condition. Username does not equal hidden field or whatever.

    Then have it disable the control if this is true.

    Thanks Clay for replying ... Infact I'm not that good in xpath expression writing. I referred to some useful resources (w3schools) but could'nt get considerable help. How can i refer to the current image control in the repeat table ??? can you plz help me in writing xpath expression . I give you the complete picture of the problem : User1 opens the form and save some image in repeat table row. Onsave form event, a new blank row is added and form is closed. Next user2 add some image and saves and so on ...  Now the user 2 is not supposed to edit the image ,the one saved by user1. To indentify the rows, each row carries the user name who saved the image .
