Error copying .xml form from SP2003 to new library in SP2007

HI - I have to move 30 odd InfoPath forms from a SP2003 library list to SP2007. If I just copy the .xml forms I get an error and can't open the form. The libraries and form are both the same. The error is  InfoPath cannot open the following file xxx.xml. The following template form template for the form cannot be found xxx\microsoft\infopath\designer\641e3a961c904c8b\manifest.xsf. I guess I'm looking for help to move the xml forms across from SP2003 to SP2007. As I mentioned the forms are the same and the libraries are the same (views are a little different) Any help appreciated

InfoPaath documents (XML Files) always reference the published Template they were created from. This is embedded in the file.

Clay thanks man.. I'm not the admin for SP2007. IT support aren't interested in helping although I did pay $9.98 for the app. I'm a simple guy who created a form that folks like and now need to move it to SP2007. I ain't a tech and wish I'd kept quite and not tried to increase the stock price :) Any other ideas?

Yah that is how it began for me...its a common tale... make an electornic form and everybody wants one.

I refer to your situation as  "hostile IT environment" and many of us can relate unfortunately.

The key is to leverage the big fish, department managers, VP's etc and get them to put the pressure on IT.

I think the app should work as long as you have contribute rights on both sites.
