Multiple Page Setups in Printable Forms

Hi there, Newbie here.  I've searched the forum and could not find the appropriate thread... so here goes..

I've just recently discovered Infopath on our server and have designed a lease document for a residential apartment building I manage.  My plan is to have the agents input the information in the appropriate fileds on the form and then print the lease (double sided on legal) and two additional forms (that have auto populated fields from the lease and are letter sized) as part of a lease package.

The question is: (how) can I incorporate different views or forms (with different page set-ups) into a single combined view and print the forms with the appropriate page setups with one button, keystroke etc. after the form is complete.  Alternatively, could the forms be transfered to word and have it print in that way in word?

I wasn't able to find anything on this topic - I hoe I didn't miss it.  If so, sorry about the new post.

    Thank you!

    Bryan

    Hey Brian.

    Good post.

Printing in InfoPath is a bit tricky. It was designed to be an electronic form primarily.  Do you have InfoPath 2007? It has some improvements for printing over 2003.

Typically you would design your from views for your input and electronic use and then create one print view. If one doesn't work, you would just have to setup the form user to print a view and then click to the next one and print that, etc.

This you would want to format so that it met your two page legal requirment (the print driver will do the double side) and your other forms can be formatted at the bottom as well. You can use page breaks, etc to break them up.  Then you can go to view properties and actually set other views to use the print view if the user selects the print button on them as well.

It will take some trial and error witht he form setup and possibly the printer setups but I think you can do this.

If you need some assistance from an InfoPath MVP you can purchase a credit from the http://www.qdabra.com store.

Thanks for the reply.  We are using 2003.

Looks like I may have to have my agents print the forms manually or resign to all of the forms to legal size.
