connecting infopath library from sharepoint into outlook

Hi, if anybody can hellp with following:

I have created a library in sharepoint as form library.
Further have associated it with one infopath form and it works ok.
Now I want this folder / library to have in outlook.
I have connected it to outlook from sharepoint and now I can see this
    form library in outlook.
However in outlook I see this library / folder in sharepoint list view as common document
folder not like infopath form folder. So I cannot see my collumns from forms e.t.c.

How to make a shareponit infopath library a fully functional infopath folder in utlook ???

    thanks in advcance

    bst rgds,

    George

Hi and welcome to our forum! I think that the InfoPath SharePoint connector does not have this feature. Yes it seems deficient! I will have to follow up with my InfoPath team contacts. I notice you posted on the MS newsgroups as well. Hopefully one of us will get the answer soon. :)

I checked with my IP team contacts and confirmed that it not possible in this version of InfoPath. The special InfoPath folders are only possible with client-only InfoPath forms folders.

The workaround is to manually create an InfoPath form folder, manually configure it to use the form you're syncing, then select all the sharepoint sync'd forms and Edit::Copy / Edit::Paste those into your folder. You'll have to manually keep them in sync but it will work to promote the properties.

    Thanks, Shiraz
