I am trying to publish a form that requires full trust in sharepoint. I have been using the fully trusted, registered method found in the msdn article referenced in many posts on this site. I believe I am missing a step somewhere. Here are the steps I am doing (on my CLIENT machine NOT the sharepoint server):
First use regform to create the .js file for registering the form
Syntax used: RegForm /U urn:ProjectSummaryReport:MyCompany /T Yes "C:\Program Files\InfoPath Form Templates\SummaryReport2003.xsn"
This completes successfully and a bak and js file are created in C:\Program Files\InfoPath Form Templates\SummaryReport2003.xsn
Next I run the .js file and the form is successfully registered
Next I open the sharepoint form library in Windows Explorer and copy over the Form from C:\Program Files\InfoPath Form Templates\SummaryReport2003.xsn
Next I change the Sharepoint path to point to the new uploaded form
When I click Fill Out Form InfoPath starts to launch and then gives me the following error:
Form template: http://pddcappuat06/sites/BSG/Project Summary Report/Forms/SummaryReport2003.xsn
The form template for "urn:ProjectSummaryReport:FreeportMcMoRan" is already registered at different location (C:\Program Files\InfoPath Form Templates\SummaryReport2003.xsn). If you want to use the form template from this location, you will need to register it by running the setup program for it.
After I recieved this message I thought that I needed to unregister the form so I did.
Now when I try to open the form I get this error:
Form template: http://pddcappuat06/sites/BSG/Project%20Summary%20Report/Forms/SummaryReport2003.xsn
The form template is trying to access files and settings on your computer. InfoPath cannot grant access to these files and settings because the form template is not fully trusted.
I know I am missing something. I just cant figure out what.
