    xml document datasource question

I have an Infopath 2003 order form that contains legal terms and conditions. There are different sets of T&C for each country. There are 23 countries therefore 23 sets of T&C. The origional legal documents are supplied in MsWord format, about 3-4 pages of 3 column text. I origionally pasted them into tables and set conditional formating to hide all but the contry specific T&C for the country selected.

This is getting very messy and consiquently a large number of blank pages are generated due to the inconistancies in document size.

I've been thinking that If I convert these Word documents into XML document either via MsWord 2007 or OpenOffice I migh be abel to reference these documents as datasources. Anyone know if this is possible and if so how best to do it?

    Re: xml document datasource question

If the XML file will help you displaying data or have control on the fields to display or not, XML is good.

Actually I am doing something close : I made a form with 30 questions and, depending on an XML file, I hide or display those questions (using sections) and even the question is given to me through the XML file.

But be careful, if your XML is subject of changing pretty often, you should not integrate it into your form and only put a link to it.
