Open InfoPath Form in ReadOnly mode

    Hi.

I need to open an InfoPath Template Form in ReadOnly mode, but i can't find anything that helps me doing this.

I have read that a posible solution is to put all the controls into ReadOnly mode, but what i need is to put the entire Form into ReadOnly mode.

If someone knows how to do, please post a reply.

    thx.

Create a view where you set all you controls to read only, uncheck all possible checkboxes to not allow poeple to change you repeating sections for example. written text cannot be changed anyway. I know it´s can be quite a bit of work to set all controls to read only depending on how big your datasource is, but its the only way in know of.

In IP2003 you can't set the form to read-only in the form level.  The easier way to do it is to create a read-only view and add a boolean field named "readonly" to your main data source.  You will set this value to true when the user submits the form (for instance).  Or to add conidtional logic to each control of the form to make it read-only base on this field ( both as described by nukkumat).  If you have IP2007, there is an option to set the entire view to Read-Only.  Search Design a read-only view in the Help box and you can find the instrucitons.  A note to that is it is not backward compatible with IP2003.
