Interesting Problem Occurring... NEED HELP ASAP

I don't even know if anyone is going to be able to help but here goes.

I have an IP 2007 form and I am hosting it in a windows application. I have a windows tree control on the left hand side, when i click on an item in the tree control it inserts a node into a section of the xml and displays the currently added node in the repeating section i ahve on my form. This was working fine but all of a sudden after i add about 20 items via the tree control the infopath form FREEZES. It will still add items if i click the tree control, the views still switch ect, but the repeating section no longer updates (as in the newly added node no longer appears in the repeating section) but i know the node is added becuase if i save the form and load it again the node is there. Anybody run into this before?

    Hi ErinSelena,

Sounds like you are doing some advanced InfoPath programming! :) I'm sorry, but I have no idea what is going on. Is it always reproducing after the same number of items or is it in a range? If you can create a very simple example that shows the problem, I'd be happy to enlist someone on the InfoPath product team to take a look at it. We could also test the scenario here to see if we could reproduce it. The only thing I can think of is some UI contention between the InfoPath thread and the Winform thread. You might consider disabling the view updates in the InfoPath form before the item is inserted and then re-enabling after it is inserted. If it still repros, move the re-enabling to a refresh button and see if that solves it. I realize that's not a solution, but it could help us understand the problem better.

    Good luck!
