Data validation fails for all textbox entries when using multiple patterns

    Data validation fails for all textbox entries when using multiple patterns

    I'm working in Infopath 2007 with compatibility for Infopath 2003.  

    I have a text field that needs to match one of 5 patterns:
(B|P|Q|Z)\d{8}
EN\d{7}
6261B\d{4}
P\d{6}
MD\d{4}

I have tried using the data validation as an expression and also as a series 
of conditions and it always fail if there is more than one condition listed.  

Any ideas why this is happening?  Does it require a coded validation?

    What is your intervening operatior, AND or OR? You need to use OR.
